Josh Hamilton hit another home run as the Rangers won the second game of Thursday's doubleheader against the Orioles in Baltimore, along with the series.
Derek Holland
got the start for Texas and gave up three runs on four hits over six
innings. All three runs came in the second inning. Texas scored the
first runs of the game with Hamilton's two-run blast in the first
inning. In the fifth inning, Mike Napoli tied the game on a triple and was later scored on a single by Elvis Andrus, giving the Rangers the lead. Texas tacked on three more in the seventh.
Hamilton went 1-for-4, while Napoli went 2-for-4. After taking one
out of three games in its previous three series, the Rangers finished a
10-game road trip on a high note, taking three of four games in
Baltimore. Texas will now head home for seven games.
